Atlanta Heat Developmental Teams
Focused on youth player development. Ideal for elementary and middle school aged boys and girls interested in learning the fundamentals of volleyball and growing their skills.
To secure your player's position on the Developmental Team, complete the attached Registration Form and email it to info@atlheat.com. Given the limited number of placements, registrations will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis based on the email submission of these completed documents. Once approved for the program, a payment link will be sent via email. The total cost of the program is $250.
What we are providing
This is an 8-week program that will teach the fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, setting, attacking, and serving. In addition, players will increase their volleyball IQ by learning the beginning strategies of match play. Each practice will build upon the previous practices. Practices will be twice per week at Brookwood High School for an hour at each practice, and players will be provided with Atlanta Heat practice uniforms.
The schedule for the 8 week session is listed below. All training will be held at Brookwood High School (1255 Dogwood Rd SW, Snellville, GA 30078).
- Week 1 - Tuesday, Oct 21 & Thursday, Oct 23
- Week 2 - Tuesday, Oct 28 & Thursday, Oct 30
- Week 3 - Tuesday, Nov 4 & Thursday, Nov 6
- Week 4 - Monday, Nov 10 & Wednesday, Nov 12
- Week 5 - Monday, Nov 17 & Wednesday, Nov 19
- Week 6 - Monday, Dec 1 & Tuesday, Dec 2
- Week 7 - Monday, Dec 8 & Wednesday, Dec 10
